Chapter 67

Mother Nature had grown a large vine out of the ground and sent it straight at Omega who had been consistantly attacking her and Enzo. The vine travelled out of the barrier that Violet created and flew straight at Omega smashing him into the ground. Enzo jumped out of the barrier as well landed on top of the vine. He galloped faster and faster until he became light once more. He somersaulted into the air and aimed a hoof at Omega's head, "take this!!!" Enzo roared as he smashed his hoof into the ground where Omega had been. Enzo was confused for a moment before he felt a strong sharp blow against his body which sent he tumbling across the ground. "ENZO!" Violet cried out as she bent her sound waves to surround Enzo, she then summoned her Elemental Rod and spun it around, "that's it you sack of shiet!" she swung the rod around with all her force. "Requiem of the Tsunami!" she yelled as a large wave of water formed from her rod. The wave proceeded to surround her, as she quickly kicked the rod into the air and brought out her holographic scratch board. She spun her records and quickly mixed tunes and sent the sound waves into the water. The water instantly spiked and swirled from the sound waves. "Take this!!!" Violet yelled as she shot the wave at Omega. Omega watched as the overwhelmingly large wave lumbered towards him. Violet grabbed her rod and swung it downwards "YOU HAVE NO WHERE TO RUN!" she yelled as the wave followed the motion of the rod. Enzo was moved out of the way from the incomming wave and Mother Nature created a wall of trees to protect herself and Zen. The wave rushed into Omega and sent him spinning uncontrollably in the seemingly endless world of water. Omega tried and tried to regain his composure but was forcefully pushed back constantly. Violet's eyes focused on the target with such intent and was forceing all of her energy into the attack she had not realized the danger that was looming over her. The darkness from her suit had started to spin around her body. "VIOLET!" Enzo yelled in horror as he watched the darkness slowly closing in on her.

---Cavern's exit----

There was a sudden rush of water that spilled down the opening of the Cavern's mouth like a waterfall. Strong Cider flexed his hind legs and quickly kicked the water, "yyeeeehaaaaa!!!" he cheered as Medley watched the water fly upwards. They had finally reached the top. Apple Jane looked at Medley and asked, "ya'll right?" "Yeah... Dawn seems to be alright too. I wonder where all that water came from?" "Ah sense somethin commin from that direction," Strong Cider pointed a hoof towards the center of the city. "Our.. time is up," Apple Jane said as she watched her body grow faint. "..Darn Ah wish we could stay an fight," Cider watched his hooves grow faint as well. "I'll make sure the darkness ends here, and I'll make sure that Dawn Bell is safe!" Medley said as her armor surrounded her once again in a blaze of glory. Apple Jane looked at Strong Cider with a smile, "guess we're lucky our grand daughter has such a good friend," "guess so, keep yer friendship strong kid, see ya around" Strong Cider smiled as the two of them disappeared.

----Empty room---
Dawn forced her hooves to move faster as Johnny's hooves picked up tempo. They had been sparring for what seemed like hours. The intensity of their attacks had caused the ground to crumble in downwards and crack. Finally Dawn managed to get a hoof in and sent Johnny flying backwards. "Woo..ph.." Johnny grunted and laughed, "got quite the punch there little gal," "thanks," Dawn smiled as she helped Johnny up. "Well judging from that attack... Ah'd say yer strength has gotten quite high... no pony has been able to send me flyin that far back before.. it's actually kinda scary how fast yer developin," Johnny took his hat off and brushed back his blonde curley mane. It's the first time Dawn had noticed the large scar across his face and his bright emerald green eyes, his hat had been shading it all the whole time. Johnny quickly punched the ground and pulled up a large chunk of land, "wanna try?" Johnny asked. Dawn looked at it and nodded, "Ah hope yer right ..." Dawn said as she held the mass with her own hooves and took it from Johnny. "Hnng...?!" Dawn had her eyes closed waiting for something impossibly heavy but was instead greeted with something light. "Wow..." Dawn looked at the mass of land and held it with one hoof. "...." Johnny looked at Dawn with amazement (how in the hay...huh..Ah wonder how that happened...?) Dawn tossed the mass into the air and quickly kicked it sending it flying through the air. The force from her kick made even the air rumble around the two of them. As the land mass flew it dissolved into dust. "....that's a new one, delayed strength.." Johnny looked at Dawn with widened eyes. "Yeah... Ah kinda figured if ya attack even faster into the weak point behind the weak point it'll create a delayed effect... might come in useful," Dawn smiled. "Yer.. jus like her ya know that?" Johnny laughed a little, "she was always expermentin and finding new moves fer us to all try out... Ah miss her so much," Johnny turned away. Dawn looked up at Johnny and hugged him, "Ah'm sure you'll see her again soon". "..." Johnny looked back and sighed, "how are they ever gonna forgive me for failing..?" "Failing?" Dawn asked. "Ah couldn't save Lady Dusk.. and Ah let everypony down that day," Johnny gritted his teeth as tears started to fall down his cheeks. Dawn turned Johnny around and frowned at him, "ya know Ah talked to all of them, and they don't seem to blame you fer anythin. Ah don't know exactly what happened... but Ah know they wouldn't be like that. They all seem to respect you and they are your friends!" Johnny looked down at Dawn and said, "maybe yer right..." he nodded, "show me a good move, so Ah can have at least some hope fer this lost cause". "Ah'll do one better than that!" Dawn said as she held up her cross bow. The familiar blue blue blade started to form. "This time Ah know Ah can hold it up!" Dawn watched as the sword grow longer. Johnny's eyes grew wider as he watched the blade as it started to glow brighter and brighter, "...Blue Rose". Dawn held the sword up in front of her, it was light, "Ah, can hold it up now!" the rapier's glow was so bright Johnny had to cover his eyes with a fading hoof. ".....!" Dawn saw Johnny growing transparent. "...Such a bright glow from such a little filly," Johnny smiled. "Johnny!" Dawn's sword disappeared as she ran to hold Johnny. "Hey now..." Johnny closed his eyes with a smile across his muzzle, "no tears ya hear? Ah had my doubts, but now Ah think Ah can see what the others saw in you. Something big's gonna happen, and Ah wanna be there standin with ya" Johnny put a hoof on Dawn's shoulder. Dawn looked up at him with tears running down her cheeks, "then don't disappear!" "We'll meet again... when we are facin the ones who are shakin in their boots right about now," Johnny said as he took his hat off and held it too his chest and bowed, "Equestria's in good hooves, catch ya later kid". Dawn's eyes grew wide as Johnny disappeared through her hooves. "..." Dawn nodded as she felt a strong force surround her body. "Huh...! what's this?!" the white spirit that had greated her all those years ago appeared before her. "Lady Dusk," Dawn smiled, "or ... rather the essense right?" "You are very sharp, yes I am a part of Lady Dusk, now listen closely, we only have one chance to save everypony".
